REGISTERED OF TRADEMARK<\/p>

The main registration of the Miss Globe International brand is kept in the US Trademark and Patent Office where the brand was created. Our brand is protected both nationally and internationally in the USA under the Intellectual Property Rights Act of 1946.<\/p>

The term Miss Globe was first registered in 1925 in the US in the Los Angeles Trade Registry by the founding president Charlie See on behalf of the Charlie See & Charlie See Associate company.<\/p>

The Miss Globe International title was registered as a trademark with the USPTO on June 9, 1967, 18 years after Charlie See’s death, on the 47th anniversary of the competition. This registration was made by Li Sun, the owner of the company. Since there was no other heir to the Charlie See & Charlie See Associate company after Charlie See’s death, Li Sun is the person who took ownership and continued the company.<\/p>

In order to legally protect the title ‘Miss Globe International’, the words Miss Globe International\u00ae were registered separately as trademarks in the same occupational class on June 09, 1967, Miss Globe Beauty\u00ae on January 23, 1973, and Miss Globe\u00ae on August 12, 1975. The occupational class of the brand is national 100, 101 and 107, and international 41. Although more than one trademark has been registered in the USPTO regarding the Miss Globe title, in practice the titles \u2018Miss Globe National\u2019 and \u2018Miss Globe International\u2019 have been described and put into use. These titles fully express the two-stage competition.<\/p>

The Miss Globe National and Miss Globe International brands were previously produced by Charlie See & Charlie See Associate under the trade name Festival of Beauty.<\/p>

On May 26, 2004, Li Sun transferred the Miss Globe Natinal and Miss Globe International brands to Rasim Ayd\u0131n, the owner of the T\u00fcrk Medya Company, on behalf of Charlie See & Charlie See Associate, the legal owner of the brand. This transfer was approved by the California State Department on May 26, 2004 with a post-A stamp. After Rasim Ayd\u0131n took over the brand, the production of the competition was undertaken by the RCA Global Entertainment Company.<\/p>

The current legal records of the Miss Globe International brand, which operates under the Miss Globe Organization, are as follows.<\/p>

USPTO: Miss Globe International, USPTO, Rasim Ayd\u0131n, registered in 100, 101 and 107 National Classes and International Class 41 with the number 3,756,654.<\/p>

OHIM Miss Globe International, Rasim Ayd\u0131n, registered in OHIM, European Union Trademark and Patent Office in International 41 class with the number 009259227.<\/p>

TPE Miss Globe International, Rasim Ayd\u0131n, registered in Turkish Patent Institute Trademark Office in International 41 class with the number 2007\/52692.<\/p>

National event organizers can only organize national competitions by making a Franchise agreement based on these registrations in order to be legal. It cannot be done without the permission of Rasim Ayd\u0131n, the legal owner of the brand.<\/p>

The distinguishing feature of our legal brand is its coat of arms. Our brand is designed in a circular form in gold color and the outer ring contains the phrase Miss Globe Beauty Pageant. In the middle of this emblem, there is Miss Globe International or in the versions prepared for franchises in the countries, there is a separate\/separate country name (\u2026.. National) in each country. The name of our founder Charlie See and the name of the owner of the brand Rasim Ayd\u0131n and the statement that the brand was founded in 1925 are clearly visible on the emblem.<\/p>

Some people who are prone to committing crimes in various countries illegally use the term Miss Globe International under other emblems. These attempts are crimes before the law. Unfortunately, there is no common protection institution that all countries are party to universally, nor is there a protective law.<\/p>

Some countries do not even have a trademark protection law. Unfortunately, we also experience the abuse problems that all international brands experience. These people who do not respect our legal rights, take advantage of the laws of their countries, establish a company under the name of Miss Globe Group, register the words Miss Globe as a trademark in their own countries, and try to act as if it were the original Miss Globe International competition based on this national registration.<\/p>

Thus, they mislead consumers. Some of these fraudsters have attempted to remove the words that make up the brand and\/or make new additions and design a brand logo similar to ours and even register them with the USPTO.<\/p>

However, the USPTO research department has rejected these requests. Those who are curious can go to the USPTO website and review the rejected attempts to understand who these vandals are. They can learn the identities of these people, and thus be protected from their illegal competitions. The \u2018Miss Globe Organization – Brand Protection Department\u2019 has assigned Uygunba\u015f Law Firm to monitor these issues.<\/p>

Since it is not possible to prevent this abuse internationally, participants need to be sensitive. On the other hand, the information about the Miss Globe International brand on Wikipedia is also partially insecure. The information is presented as if there were three separate legal \u2018Miss Globe International\u2019 competitions.<\/p>

Historical facts about the brand are also partially distorted. There is also a lot of imaginary information about our brand on Wikipedia pages that is not real.<\/p>

Although we have made corrections many times in the past, since the pages are open coding, those who abuse our brand have made a special effort to change this information and to put their own names there. Despite our application, Wikipedia unfortunately has not been responsive to the complaints and has not locked the page. It has not prevented vandals from making changes to the main information source. It has not corrected the erroneous information.<\/p>
