WHO ARE WE?

Hello! Miss Globe Organization Global Head Office Istanbul Turkiye

Although more than one trademark has been registered in the USPTO regarding the Miss Globe title, in practice, the titles ‘Miss Globe National’ and ‘Miss Globe International’ and ‘Miss Globe Inter-continental’ have come to the fore. These titles fully express the two-stage competition.

We are the International Miss Globe Organization. The Miss Globe title was born in 1925 at the opening of the spring events at Lake Winnipesauke.

According to Li Sun, the inspiration for the Miss Globe title was the Boston Globe newspaper. He stated that Charlie See, the founder of the brand, gave him this information.

The Miss Globe expression was first registered in the USA in 1925 in the Los Angeles Commercial Registry by the founder Charlie See on behalf of the company Charlie See, d/b/a Charlie See & Associate.

The Miss Globe International title was registered as a brand with the USPTO 18 years after Charlie See’s death, on the 47th anniversary of the competition, on June 9, 1967. This registration was made by Li Sun, the owner of the company. Li Sun is the person who took ownership of the company Charlie See, d/b/a Charlie See & Associate after Charlie See’s death, since there was no other heir.

In order to legally protect the title ‘Miss Globe International’, the words Miss Globe International® were registered separately as trademarks in the same occupation class on June 09, 1967, Miss Globe Beauty® on January 23, 1973, and Miss Globe® on August 12, 1975. The occupation class of the trademark is national 100, 101 and 107, and international 41. Although more than one trademark has been registered for the title of Miss Globe at the USPTO, in practice the titles ‘Miss Globe National’, Miss Globe Inter-continental and ‘Miss Globe International’ have been described and put into use.

These titles fully express the two-stage competition.

The title Miss Globe International was first leased as a franchise to Özgermi Textil, a Turkish textile company, in 1988. Thus, the center of the competition was moved from Hollywood to Istanbul, Turkey. Under the presidency of Süha Özgermi, the owner of Özgermi Textil, the competition was held in Turkey from 1988 to 2003. At that time, the producer of the competition in Turkey was Atilla Kaplakarslan from the Vizyon Yapım agency.

The 78th Final of the ‘Miss Globe International’ competition was held in Antalya, Turkey in 2003. The competition was held at Club Ares, located within the Dedeman Hotel in Antalya. The Brazilian representative Princilla Meirelles was crowned in the competition. Süha Özgermi retired after making her jubilee with this competition.

Following this incident, Mr. Li Sun announced that he would sell the Miss Globe International business chain. In 2004, the Miss Globe International brand was transferred to Rasim Aydın, the owner of the Türk Medya company. Rasim Aydın is also the privilege holder of some daily, weekly and monthly publications broadcasting nationally in Turkey.

This transfer process was approved by the California State Department on May 26, 2004 with (A) Postil. (A) After the postil approval, the records related to the brand were rearranged in the USPTO and OHIM in the name of Rasim Aydın. Thus, Rasim Aydın became the sole legal owner of the entire brand on a global scale.

After Mr. Rasim Aydın took over the brand, he redesigned these three brand records on the brand’s circular historical emblem and combined them into a single emblem. This emblem is the golden symbol that is in use today and distinguishes it from other fake brands.

While Mr. Li Sun previously produced the international Miss Globe competition within the scope of the Beauty Festival in Hollywood, after Rasim Aydın took over the brand, he assigned the brand management of the competition to RCA Global Empire Pageants Company and the production to RCA Global Entertainment Co. The owner of these companies is also Rasim Aydın.

As the Miss Globe Organization, our duty is to organize a global beauty competition, which is completed in three stages every year under the titles of Miss Globe National, Miss Globe Intercontinental and Miss Globe International, in order to promote the products and services of others.

There are around 90 organizers in the global business chain that carries out the Miss Globe competitions. (Go to the list of national directors.) This team has a network that extends to 162 countries. This network works to discover and reveal the characteristic beauty of each country. However, it is impossible to put the representatives of 162 countries on stage in a 2.5-hour stage show. Therefore, after all applications are received, the participants are examined by a committee, taking into account their artistic stance, physical characteristics and social conditions.

Participants from an average of 80-100 countries are given the opportunity to represent their talents and countries by going on the international stage.

The competition is held among girls who are 17 years old and under 26 years old, have never been married, are at least 175 cm tall, have average body measurements of 90, 60, 90, average leg length of 108, have a pleasant face, have an aesthetic and proper posture, can attract attention with their walk, have no physical deformities in their bodies, and are a star at first sight.

Physical conditions are of course important for girls to be accepted to the competition. However, they are not enough on their own. We value education, skills, taking responsibility in the face of problems, forming and managing a team, and their ability. The participant must be respectful of social values. They must be able to inspire the society they live in, be competent enough to instill moral values, be self-confident and have a potential role model profile.

The competition rewards natural beauty that comes from birth. Physical beauty represents 50% of the jury points, and this point is evaluated together with the other characteristics of the contestant and the result is determined.

Our duty is to discover, adopt and prepare such girls for life by educating them in a way that suits their careers. The stories of the girls competing to represent their countries always excite and inspire us.

Miss Globe is a great platform for girls who have not realized their potential or who have difficulty making a breakthrough in their living conditions. It is a unique feeling to help Miss Globe beauties discover their own potential. We watch with admiration how they start from scratch, rise with the Miss Globe platform and become stars.

The fact that Miss Globe beauty queens step onto the international stage and take advantage of the charm of their beauty to challenge the world with self-confidence also inspires other women who are not yet aware of their talents.
